We are now looking to recruit a Trainee Customer Service Sales Representative to join our office based team. It’s important to note that this is not a high pressure sales environment. We deal with our existing customer base in a professional and competent manner. There is no cold calling or canvassing for new customers.
During the trainee phase of your employment you will provide assistance and support to our existing Sales Representatives whilst learning about our products, internal systems and the way we work with our customers.
You will be given full training support in processing customer orders, credits, returns and repairs. You will be given the opportunity to experience working in all areas of our business so as to understand our processes from beginning to end.
This role will ideally suit a graduate or someone with limited work experience who is intelligent, customer focused and eager to learn. Previous sales experience is not essential, however if you are able to demonstrate experience of dealing with the public or providing customer service in some way that would be advantageous.
Once your training period is complete you are likely to be given the opportunity to manage your own set of existing customers, developing your relationship with them in order to secure and increase order values. At this stage you will also be able to earn commission and take part in sales incentives to win promoted products and other rewards.
You must have an eye for detail and a professional approach to accurate record keeping. You will be responsible for order processing and active account management. Full product and sales training will be provided and there may, in the future, be the requirement for you to visit customers so a driving license or willingness to pass your test is important too.
Our employees enjoy a generous benefits package consisting of a good basic salary and realistic uncapped commission package, resulting in on-target earnings once trained of between £20,000 and £30,000 dependent of your commitment and performance. Earnings are unlimited through our generous commission scheme. You will also receive 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
